Finding Journals

There are a couple of ways to search for journals available from the University Libraries.  The sections following will help walk you through the process of locating a specific journal.

Step 1: Searching the Electronic Journals List
Step 2: Searching the Catalog
Step 3: Requesting the Journal from Interlibrary Loan

Locate Journals Online by Title

From the library's homepage: ...

1.  Click on Locate Journals Online by Title

2.  Enter the name of the journal.  Do not enter the article title.

3.  Check the years of availability.

Searching the Catalog

The catalog is accessible by clicking on Classic Catalog Search.

Enter the journal name.  Change the search field to Journals/Serials.

Some Tips:

  • You can limit your search to Journals/Serials in all libraries or to items held at Columbia Thomas Cooper Library.
  • Use View additional copies or search for a specific/volume/copy to locate a specific year or volume number.
