Watching Reserve Films

Students can watch films that are placed on reserve in one of two viewing rooms in Thomas Cooper Library.  Both Viewing Rooms are available when Circulation is open.

The Indvidual Film Viewing Room has 12 individual stations, each with a 19" flat screen TV and a VCR/DVD combo player.  

The Group Viewing Room can be used by groups of up to eight students that would all like to watch a film at the same time.  

Film Reserves

Place films on reserve for students to watch in the library outside of class.

Classroom Use

Educational Films can be booked at anytime during the semester for classroom use, just send an email providing:

  • Title
  • Call Number
  • Date to be shown


Copyright Information

The Educational Films Collection recognizes the importance of the Copyright Law of the United States ( Title 17, United States Code) and prohibits the copying or use of copyrighted material not specifically permitted or exempted by the Copyright Law.

Only legally purchased or legally copied materials will be placed in the permanent collection of the Educational Films Collection or placed on reserve at Thomas Cooper Library.
