Reporting Problems with Online Resources
If an online resource is giving you an error message or is otherwise not functioning normally, please report persistent problems to the library. Use the contact information provided for online chat, phone or email.

When reporting a problem, we may ask you for any or all of the following:

  • What does the error message say?
  • Which resource are you trying to access and what starting point are you using (e.g. Find It @ USC, Google Scholar, etc.)?
  • What browser and browser version are you using (e.g. Firefox 65.0.01)?
  • What operating system are you on (e.g. Windows 10, Mac OS X)?
  • Are you on campus (wired connection) or on a wireless network? Which one?
  • What login credentials are you using?
  • What is the citation if you are trying to access a specific article?
