Advantages of Hoover's Online
- Easy to search by Company
- Can use "Build A List" to customize a selection of companies by multiple criteria (location, SIC or NAICS code, sales, etc.)
- Specialized section for IPO Data, including searching by Filing Date
Searching for Filings in Hoovers Online
Search Steps:
1. From HOME screen, search for a company by name or ticker
2. In the COMPANY INDEX box at the top of the Company Overview screen, select the drop-down menu for FINANCIALS, then SEC FILINGS
The resulting SEC FILINGS screen will provide a list of all the company's filings.
Can also limit filings by Form Type or Year.
