VPN builds a data "tunnel" through public/private networks that can provide secure data access to private or internal resources. Data is encrypted through the VPN system and protected from unauthorized access or data "snooping".
Most databases can be accessed off-campus (see link for instructions below). However, certain business databases have licensing restrictions that limit their use off-campus. Contact the Business Library (803-777-6032) if you have questions.
