The South Caroliniana Library is one of the premier research archives and special collections repositories in South Carolina and the Southeast region. The library has four collecting areas, including Manuscripts, Published Materials, University Archives, and Visual Materials. Collection holdings work together to document South Carolina and the American South, and are essential to the understanding Southern culture over the past 300 years.
