Art & Visual Design: Getting Started

This guide is to assist in accessing library resources for students and researchers.

Beginning Your Research

Reference sources such as subject specific encyclopedias or dictionaries can be great places to start your research.  These sources can help you identify or narrow a topic, provide reliable background information in order to gain a general overview of a topic, and often times these sources can provide you with a list of books or articles for starting your research.

Welcome to the Thomas Cooper Library subject guide for School of Visual Art and Design!  This guide provides an overview of Thomas Cooper Library resources and services for Visual Art & Design.

Please don't hesitate to contact me if you are not able to find what you are looking for as the information contained here serves as a starting point.  Depending on your topic there most likely will be additional resources available!
