Academic Writing

To find books on academic writing, search in the library catalog. Click on the drop-down menu (which searches Keyword by default) and select Subject. Then, type in Academic Writing. From the generated list, select Academic Writing to view the books on academic writing. 

Citation Manuals

To find books on citation styles, do a keyword search for a specific style. For instance, if you are interested in the APA style manual, select Keyword and type in APA Style.

The Dissertation Process

To find books on the dissertation process, search in the library catalog. Click on the drop-down menu (which searches Keyword by default) and select Subject. Then, type in dissertations. From the generated list, select Dissertations, Academic to view the books on the dissertation process.

Literature Reviews

To find books on literature reviews, do a keyword search in the library catalog for literature reviews. If you're interested in discipline-specific literature reviews, include the discipline as a keyword. For instance, if you're interested in literature reviews in public health, you can search literature reviews AND health.

Presenting

To find books on presenting, do a keyword search in the library catalog. Keywords can include: lectures, lecturing, poster presentations

Need a Book That's Checked Out?

In the library catalog, use the request link to put the book on hold once it gets checked in. If you need the book sooner, see if it's available through PASCAL Delivers.
