We Shall not be Moved chamber opera tells the story of five North Philadelphia teens who find a home in a condemned West Philadelphia house, formerly the headquarters of the MOVE organization.

Composer Daniel Bernard Roumain combines spoken word, contemporary movement, video projection, classical, R&B with jazz singing.
