A primary source [humanities] is a document that comes the time period when the events discussed took place, as well as originates from a person or people who have a first-hand account of an event that occurred.

ArchivesSpace (aka ASpace) is a Finding Aid Database -- a site designed to help a user find the inventory of various archives at a single institution. This resource will describe what is stored in the archives, but you will need to request access in order to use the materials. Aspace is constantly being updated - be sure to check back or ask a librarian for help finding uncatalogued materials.
