Even though Education Source and ERIC both cover education, the databases don't always use the same terms.

Use both with OR between (for exact phrase use quotes):
"student affairs" OR "student personnel"
AND transfer students

Brainstorm! Could any of your terms have different endings? Use * as a wildcard. Ex. psycholog* finds psychology, psychological
college students OR undergraduate* OR freshmen OR sophomores OR juniors OR seniors

Many journals have a way you can set up an alert to be notified when a new journal issue or articles from a saved search have been published. You can save searches and set alerts in Find It@USC and article databases too.
