Graduate Student Guide to USC Libraries

Learn about the University Libraries resources, services, and spaces available for graduate students

Interlibrary Loan

You can request materials that are not available through the Libraries through interlibrary loan, which is a free service for accessing books, articles, and research materials from other libraries.

Scan and Deliver

You can request scanned copies of materials, such as journal articles or book chapters, that the Libraries has in print but not online.

Borrow Technology

The Checkout Desk, located on the Main Level of Thomas Cooper Library, loans iPads, camera equipment, voice recorders, and more.

Off-Campus Access

Libraries resources and services are available even at a distance. Graduate students can access databases, online journals, and ebooks off-campus, and graduate students who live outside of Richland and Lexington counties are eligible for free book delivery.
