This research guide provides information sources and links about the history of McMaster College, formerly McMaster School, which houses the School of Visual Art and Design.

Use the links on the left side or bottom of the guide to navigate to articles, books, and archival materials. Subscription-based electronic resources will require you to login with your University of South Carolina network username and password if you are off-campus.  Some of these resources are freely available online, while others are held at South Caroliniana Library and Thomas Cooper Library

This research guide is a joint effort between Dr. Lydia Brandt, Associate Professor of Art History, and Karen Brown, Research & Instruction Librarian and Liaison to School of Visual Art and Design.  The resources within this guide were gathered by Dr. Lydia Brandt when researching the history of McMaster College.  Karen Brown created the research guide in order to facilitate access to these resources.
