Search Tip: Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI)
- Web of Science Core Collection contains the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED), Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-EXPANDED), and Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI).
- You will want to select to search the Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) by using the dropdown under Editions to select just Social Science Citation Index (SSCI).
Search Tip: Advanced Search
- The default search is 'All Fields,' but for more accurate results, you will want to select Topic.
- A Topic search searches the title, abstract, and keyword fields of Web of Science records. Unlike Sociological Abstracts, Web of Science does not assign subject terms to an article.
- To add search lines, click on +Add row. To search within a specific date range, click on the +Add date range.
